Your Questions, Answered
-
We created Our Journi because we saw people everywhere carrying things they were never meant to hold alone. Family, friends, strangers, all navigating their inner worlds without a guide. We wanted to build something gentle. Something that didn't demand answers, just asked the right questions. A tool that said: You're not alone in this.
-
It's for anyone who's ever wondered.
The overthinker who needs a place to put all those thoughts.
The person in therapy who wants to go deeper between sessions.
The friend who craves real conversations but doesn't know how to start them.
The one who's been living someone else's story and is ready to write their own.
The quiet one. The loud one. The lost one. The found one.
It's for you. Exactly as you are.

A Space is a chapter: one of the five emotional territories the deck takes you through.
Each Space holds a different part of the inner journey. Rather than calling them chapters (which feels linear, like a textbook), "Space" was chosen because it suggests somewhere you enter, sit in, and explore at your own pace. You're not moving through content, you're spending time in a particular room of yourself.
The five are:
The Garden — where you came from. Roots, memory, childhood, the things that shaped you before you had words for them.
The Mirror — who you are now. The patterns you repeat, the stories you tell about yourself, the identity you've built and whether it's really yours.
The Release — what you've been carrying. Shadow, grief, guilt, the things you've been holding that are ready to be set down.
The Compass — what matters to you. Values, direction, what a well-lived life actually looks like when you strip away everyone else's expectations.
The Practice — how you bring it all back into daily life. Ritual, consistency, the small sustainable ways you keep returning to yourself.
Together they form an arc, from where you've been, through who you are, into what you're letting go of, toward what you want, and finally into how you live it. But you don't have to move through them in order. You go where you're drawn.

Not at all. Many people use Our Journi entirely on their own as a gentle journaling companion. Others bring it to therapy sessions to spark conversation. Some use it with partners or friends. It's designed to meet you wherever you are.
-
Our Journi is designed to complement your personal growth practice, whether that includes therapy, journaling, coaching, or simply quiet reflection. The cards offer thoughtful prompts to explore, but they are not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you're in crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional or crisis service.
-
No. It is a Reflective Piece. There are no winners, no points, no rules to follow. It's a guided experience, a space for reflection, not competition.
-
Most self-help products tell you what to think. Our Journi just asks questions. It trusts that you have the answers inside you, you might just need a gentle nudge to find them.
Also, we built this with care for the experience. The box is designed to live on your nightstand. The cards are meant to be held. The words are chosen to land softly. It's not about fixing. It's about returning.
-
We believe a few simple things:
You were never broken. Life just layered things on top.
Healing doesn't have to be loud. Some of the most profound shifts happen in quiet moments.
No one should carry alone. Community isn't a nice extra—it's essential.
The answers are already inside you. We just help you ask the right questions.
-
Because the journey inward is personal, but it doesn't have to be solitary. "Journi" speaks to the path the unfolding, the becoming. And "Our" reminds us that we walk it together. Your journey. Our companion.
-
You can start anywhere. The chapters are designed as a gentle arc, but intuition is a better guide than rules. If you're drawn to The Release today, pull from The Release. The cards know where you need to be.
-
That's up to you. Some people pull one card a day—that's 75 days. Others pull one a week—over a year of gentle reflection. Some revisit cards years later and find entirely new answers. There's no finish line. That's the point.
-
Yes. The deck is beautiful for shared reflection. Take turns drawing cards. Share your answers. Practice deep listening—no fixing, no advice, just witnessing. It builds intimacy in a way small talk never can.
-
Absolutely. It works beautifully for sharing circles, retreats, or gatherings. One card. Silent reflection. Then each person shares what came up. The rule: listen without response. It creates a container of trust.
-
That's normal, and it's part of the work. The "go deeper" prompts are designed to guide you gently through whatever arises. If feelings feel too heavy, pause. Reach out to a trusted friend, therapist, or crisis line. You don't have to carry it alone.
-
Our Journi is a tool for reflection, not crisis intervention. If you're in immediate distress, please reach out to a qualified professional or crisis service.

Currently, Our Journi is designed for adults (16+). The questions touch on themes that may be heavy for younger audiences. We're exploring future editions for different ages.
-
Yes. The cards are designed for beginners. The questions do the heavy lifting. You just have to show up and write even a sentence counts. There's no wrong way.
-
Absolutely. The questions are deep enough for anyone. And the structure five spaces, a clear arc might offer something your practice hasn't had before. Sometimes the most experienced among us need the simplest invitations.
